Vice-President of Communications with First Institute of Canadian Inventors (FICI)
Anna Sotnykova is a passionate communications professional who brings over a decade of experience in post-secondary education, entrepreneurship, and government relations.
Currently, in a Communications & Operations role with the Office of the Vice-President Research and Innovation at Toronto Metropolitan University, and serving as a Vice-President of Communications with First Institute of Canadian Inventors (FICI), Canada’s affiliate of International Federation of Inventors’ Association (IFIA), her work is focused on bringing entrepreneurial mindset to education, policy and governance.
To advance FICI’s mission, Anna is focused on building relationships with university start-ups, accelerators and innovation ecosystems for the purpose of creating commercialization and reputation building opportunities afforded by IFIA’s network of partners and international competitions.
